Rare One is the global registry for the most important (rare) card.
Owning any of these is the old world equivalent to hunting an ultra-rare animal in the wild (please don’t though, we love rare animals too). The goal of Rare One is simple. Whether you pull it, buy it or want to find it, our community will be ready with the most up-to-date information. With features like hunting, bounties and the ability to follow all the news around specific cards our community goes beyond just card ownership.
Rare One is founded by two brothers who have been card collectors their whole lives. We are you, you are us and we are addicted to those exciting moments when you find a card that you never dreamed of touching, let alone owning and how much more powerful that feeling is when you get to share them with a community of others chasing the same high.
If you have questions, suggestions or want to contribute just email Brett or Brandon at the web domain.
Happy Hunting!

Frequently Asked Questions
Rare One (R1) is the authoritative record for the world’s rarest cards. In the R1 community we celebrate your big hits! Claim your card, search for a card you have been looking for forever or just browse and see who has some of the most impressive collections!
RareOne (R1) is here to help you show off your rare collection! You can buy, sell and track cards on R1! Looking for the last piece of your rainbow? Create a bounty, and let the R1 “Bounty Hunters” search the globe for your missing card! Want to see if a card has been pulled? Come to R1 and see who has claimed it! R1 honors all the best collections around the world, large to small.
RareOne’rs must submit multiple pictures of their card in addition to “coining” their card (sending a picture with a specific date next to the card). From there our internal authentication team will approve your submission. For more sensitive cards there may be additional authentication steps. All R1 cards are vetted before approval.
Click “claim my card” below and submit the necessary information and pictures and once verified we will change ownership.
Of course we do! We want to make sure the proper owner gets the proper credit for their collection! Furthermore when you sell your card your name will always be part of the history of the card, leaving your stamp on the card`'`s legacy!
If you’re trying to buy a card and it hasn`'`t been claimed yet, you can offer a bounty. Go to the card page and create a bounty for the amount you’re willing to pay for the card. This sets a price to encourage the owner of the card to claim the listing and look at your offer. It also alerts our tireless “hunters” to go look for the owner of the card.
No, Bounties aren’t binding, but there will always be a record of activities, in your reputation score. Reputation is a major part of the Rare One community.
This is our favorite thing. There are millions of cards that have yet to be claimed on RO. If you can find that card and get the owner to list the card on Rare One, you become “the hunter” of that card. Hunters get the following; your name will always be listed right next to the card for having originally hunted it AND get % of the first bounty/sale of the card when it moves. We will also be tracking our top hunters via our leaderboards and offering them exciting special bonuses.
When the owner claims the card we ask them “who referred you to Rare One” there they will drop your username.
Offers are simple. If you find a card you want, make an offer. The owner will see the offer and accept or respond. If you make a deal via Rare One, we will also change the ownership information and update the card history for you.
A follow helps you keep track of cards you are interested in. You`'`ll get a message when a card is claimed, sold, or has a bounty on it. This is the best way to track a card you`'`re chasing or flirting with.
Every card submission requires a clear picture of the front and back, and some answers to specific questions about the card. Each authentication is approved by a person on our Authentication Team. If you’d like to volunteer to be an authenticator, send us a note Team@onrareone.com
Currently Rare One covers cards 2018 and later with serials of 99 or less. We expect to continue to expand with time and will cover all new sets as they drop.
Yes & No. If you are a breaker and pull a RareOne you can claim a card and then in the process of claiming a card choose “pulled a card for someone else”, upload the pictures and submit! You will get credit for pulling the card! The person who you pulled the card for can still claim ownership but you will always have your name next to “Pulled by”!
